Diversity Charter Company
Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Kimberley on one of Diversity Charter Company's many tours.
For many of us, the thought of an exotic location that mixes adventure with
beauty conjures up images of trekking through the Amazon or making the
arduous climb up the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
It's astonishing that many of us believe we have to travel to the other side
of the world when, in reality, we have some of the most breathtaking scenery
in our own backyard.
The north of our state is filled with so many spectacular natural attractions,
and the owners of Diversity Charter Company know this region better than most.
One of the directors and vessel master Gavin Ashplant has spent most of
his working life at sea and, along with his crew, has an undeniable passion
and knowledge of the region. Diversity Charter Company's tours along the
Kimberley coast range in duration from seven to 14 nights.
As the name suggests, Diversity Charter Company can cater for those aged
16 to over 80 years, and even littlies travelling on exclusive family charters. The
team is more than happy to design itineraries to suit these exclusive bookings.
Catering for 12 guests, the MV Diversity II is a 20m twin-hulled catamaran
with six air-conditioned cabins (each with large panoramic windows), a
spacious dining area, three decks and plenty of audiovisual entertainment.
But it's unlikely you'll need this, as Diversity Charter Company will take
you to the unknown as well as some of the more iconic landmarks.
Guests can bush walk, swim, fish, bird watch, go mud crabbing and
"oystering", or take in the many sights including the King George River,
ancient rock galleries, Horizontal Falls, Biggie Island and Croc Creek, just
to name a few.
