One Tide Charters
If the thought of camping on a secluded strip of beach or rolling out a swag
on board a catamaran and sleeping under the stars sounds like your kind of
holiday, then look no further than One Tide Charters.
The highly successful company was started in 1998 by skipper Greg
Prouse, whose love for the Kimberley has seen him hosting coastal cruises
for the past 12 years.
Greg and his partner Anna offer an array of cruises, designed for
passengers looking for that something special, which visit remote and
relatively untouched parts of the Kimberley's pristine wilderness coastline.
The cruises, which range from five or six to 15 days, depart from and
return to Derby. With more than 1,000 islands in the Buccaneer Archipelago,
the return leg of every cruise is able to incorporate new sites and activities.
The five or six-day Yampi Sound/Horizontal Waterfall Thriller includes
visits to Cascade, Cone, Crawford and Strickland Bays, Horizontal Waterfalls,
Crocodile Creek, Silver Gull, Hidden Island and Silica Beach.
In addition to the destinations included in the six-day cruise, the eight-day
Sale River/Montgomery Reef Adventure includes the Raft Point Indigenous
Rock Art, Montgomery Reef and the Sale River and Ruby Falls.
The 12-day Prince Regent/Sale River/Montgomery Reef Adventure gets
even better -- guests will cruise further up the coast to Kuri Bay, Prince Regent
River, King Cascade Falls and Camp Creek.
For the ultimate Kimberley experience, you can't go past the 15-day
Kimberley Coast Highlights tour, which also includes visits to Careening Bay,
Hunter River, Mitchell Falls, Bigge Island Rock Art, and the outer islands of
