Explorers’ Hall of Fame utilises cutting edge technology to bring to life the characters and

expeditions through Central Australia during the mid to late 19th Century as they recount

Wylie Bay | The calm waters of Wylie Bay are ideal for kids, and
are also great for diving, fishing and boating. Located around 10km
east of Esperance, the site is accessible by 2WD and features gas
barbecues, toilets and shade shelters.
Helms Arboretum | Walk along trails through vast natural bushland at this
reserve, where you’ll see a huge variety of West Australian trees and species
from other parts of Australia. There are several serene picnic spots on site.
The arboretum is 17km from town on the Coolgardie/Esperance Highway.
Esperance Bay | Fringed with pine trees, this idyllic bay is perfect
for families. It’s got gentle waves, and a great slide and swimming
pontoon. You may even spot a dolphin. The bay includes shade shelters,
toilets and gas barbecues.
