15th Annual Vintage Blues Music Festival January 8
The iconic Albany Festival known as Vintage Blues is back again
after 14 great years. 2011 sees the best line-up since conception
in 1996 according to promoter Rob Wignall, including Daryl
Braithwaite, The Official Blues Brothers, Andrew Winton, The
Sun Orchestra and Nick Barker.

The biggest event of Mt Barker’s racing season, which includes the Great
Southern’s biggest sprint race, the $90,000 Mungrup Stud Sprint (1300m).

City Of Albany Art Prize April 8
With a first prize of $25 000 and open to artists Australia wide, the Albany
Art Prize draws major interest from local and national artists. The entries are
on display from the opening on April 8 until May 1.
