● So close to Perth yet so far away, there’ll be a full weekend
itinerary to occupy you. Start off with a bike ride along the cycle
trails of the Valley circuit where you can visit the numerous cellar
doors, breweries, coffee houses and restaurants along the way.
Or cycle to Bells Rapids and hike the hills to admire the view of
the city and surrounds.
● Visit wine and tapas bars, and unwind in hot spas before receiving
a relaxing or deep tissue massage – all before snuggling down for the
night in Perth’s most exclusive and luxurious accommodation.

Wine tastings will blow out your blood alcohol concentration – make sure you have a designated
skipper on trips out to the Valley. Either that or take a bus tour.

Enjoy a unique food and wine experience along the Swan
Valley Heritage Cycle Trail, or take West Swan Road and
stop off for supa golf, laser tag, paintballing and adventure
mini golf if you’re with the family. There are also quiet back
roads on the eastern side of the Valley that lead to places like
the famous Bells Rapids.
Swan Valley is home to more than 40 boutique, family-owned
wineries, some with open log fires perfect for a winter’s day.
Take the Swan Valley Food and Wine Trail to discover the best
of WA’s oldest wine region, renowned for producing some of
the world’s finest fortified wines, as well as premium shiraz,
verdelho and chenin blanc.
A vibrant community of artisans resides in the Valley, with
studios and galleries dotted across the lush terrain. Visit a
4.5ha sculpture park, see amazing art at the Midland Railway
Workshops, or visit any one of the many galleries through the
region. Pick up an Artisans on Swan brochure for details on
local galleries and workshops.
The Great Valley Rally is a three-hour treasure hunt designed
for families with kids aged 5 to 12. Starting at the Visitor’s Centre,
it takes you to 10 checkpoints through a series of cryptic clues.
Wildlife parks, nature trails, playgrounds, farm experiences,
